Diane Salucci is currently a communications consultant to a variety of private and publicly traded companies, with a specialty in pre-IPO preparations. Formerly Vice President of Corporate Communications and Investor Relations for San Diego-based Bridgepoint Education, Inc (NYSE:BPI), Salucci developed the company’s investor relations and public relations functions in preparation for its 2009 IPO. She led the public relations, investor relations, internal communications and community relations departments following the IPO.
Previously, as Vice President of Client Relations and Investor Relations Services for Bear Wagner Specialists, New York, Salucci served as an investor relations and communications consultant to client companies traded on the New York Stock Exchange. Prior to that, she was vice president of corporate communications and investor relations for eFunds Corporation, Scottsdale, Arizona, where she built an integrated corporate communications department for the then-newly public financial services firm. She managed public and investor relations, internal communications, marketing, corporate advertising and research.
During the 1990s, Salucci headed corporate and marketing communications for DeVry Inc., one of the largest education-related public companies in North America, where she developed an investor relations program that contributed to unprecedented growth in stock valuation. She had previously been a public relations manager for a division of ITT Corporation, publications editor for a large utility company, and director of public information for a liberal arts college. Her work has garnered several Gold Quill awards from the International Association of Business Communicators, as well as regional and local awards from the Public Relations Society of America and from a variety of other professional organizations.
